ليس هناك متطلبات أو خبرة سابقة بتصميم المواقع أو بلغات التصميم والبرمجة ، لكن بفضل أن تكون هناك معرفة ولو بسيطة بالــ HTML .
جميع التطبيقات والأدوات التي سوف يتم استخدامها في الكتاب مجانية ومتاحة علي شبكة الأنترنت وسيتم شرح كيفية تحميلها وإعدادها.
الكتاب باللغة العربية وجميع المصطلحات الأخرى سيتم شرحها، جوملا داعمة للغة العربية لوحة التحكم وكل القوائم ستكون باللغة العربية.

هذه الدورة عبارة عن مجموعة من الدروس المتتالية التي تصل بك فى نهاية المطاف إلى فهم وتطبيق نظام جوملا لإدارة المحتوى بكل ما فيه من تفاصيل لنتعلم سوياً ومن خلال التطبيق العملي [كيفية إنشاء وتطوير وإدارة موقع إلكتروني تفاعلي ] من خلال الدروس التالية :

1- تحويل جهازك الشخصي إلى سيرفر محلى من خلال تحميل وإعداد الــ Wamp Server وإعداد قواعد البيانات MySQL علىPhpMyAdmin.، وتحميل جوملا من الموقع الرسمى وإعدادها على السرفر المحلي وإضافة اللغة العربية وتعديل الإعدادات العامة للموقع.

2- التعامل مع مدير الوسائط المتعددة، وإضافة مجموعات ومقالات والتعديل والإضافة لها، وإضافة عناصر القوائم المختلفة

3- إضافة وتعديل الموديولات وإضافة موديولات من موقع خارجى .

4- إضافة المجمــــــوعات والمستخدمين وإضـــــــــــــــافة صـــــــلاحيات مختلفة للمســــتخدمين، وصلاحيات الوصول وإضافة ملاحظات للمستخدمين،وإرسال بريد جماعي، إنشاء جهات إتصال ، إنشاء رسائل خاصة بين الأعضاء .

5- التعامل مع التطبيقات الأخرى مثل( إعادة التوجية ،إضافة وعرض الإعلانات على الموقع ، الوسوم، نشر وبناء التغذيات الإخبارية RSS ... ) .

6- القوالب، إعداد القوالب وتحميل قوالب جديدة وإعدادها بالموقع .

7- التطبيقات المساعدة وكيفية اضافتها والتعامل معها مثل إضافة خريطة جوجل للموقع ، عرض تعليقات صفحة الفيس أسفل المقالات .

8- عمل نسخ إحتياطية من الموقع ، وإعادة النسخ الاحتياطية ، ورفع الموقع على الإستضافة وإتاحته للزوار بطرق مختلفة.

9- تحديث جوملا إلى آخر اصدار 3.8.3وشرح أهم الميزات الجديدة وهى: الحقول الإضافية/المخصصة، وإعداد الموقع ليكون متعدد اللغات.

10- مثال عملي لإضافة قالب كامل بكل مكوناته من نسخة جوملا وموديولاته وتطبيقاته على صورة ملف JPA ، وكيفة الإعداد والتعامل مع المكونات .

11- إضافة منتدى لموقع جوملا وهو أشهر هذه المنتديات المجانية Kunena Forum كيفية تحميله والإعدادات الأساسية له وعرضه في الموقع .
