1.Introduction to Cardiovascular Physiology:

Basic structure of the heart and circulatory system.

The role of the heart and blood vessels in the body.

2.Fundamental Functions of the Heart:

Major and minor circulations.

The electrical activity of the heart (ECG).

Cardiac cycle and blood pressure.

3.Regulation of Blood Pressure:

Neural and hormonal mechanisms.

The role of the kidneys and blood vessels in pressure regulation.

4.Peripheral Circulation:

Types of blood vessels.

Hemodynamics and blood flow.

5.Adaptation to Exercise and Stress:

The effect of physical exercise on the heart and circulatory system.

Physiological changes during physical stress.

6.Pathological Conditions of the Cardiovascular System:

Ischemic heart diseases.Hypertension.

Congestive heart failure.

Techniques Used:

Interactive online lectures using PowerPoint and visual aids.
