Definition of management:

The process of managing resources of a business to ensure the success of the enterprise and to create an environment where employees are more productive.

This is through setting the mission and objectives of the company as well as the rules and procedures to be followed.

 

Management Styles:

class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr">Autocratic: management hold all the decision making power

Benefit: decision making process is faster less motivated employees leading to lowe productivity

 Democratic: management look for the input of employees in the decision making process, however the final decision is made by management
