Bioinformatics research assistant with 2 years of experience in analyzing different NGS data sets like whole genome sequencing, shotgun and amplicon metagenomics (16S/18S/ITS), gene expression RNA-seq, protein modeling, molecular dynamics simulation, cancer genomics and proteomics analysis Pipeline.
I Believe That to Be an Excellent Lecturer, I Should Be an Excellent Learner, I Mean My Teaching Philosophy Depends on Continuous Learning and Reading to be Able to Teach the Content as Complete Story with no Missing Gaps.
I Believe also If I Am not Able to Teach a Child Complex Topic, I Won’t be Able to Teach It to Undergraduates or Postgraduates Because I Don’t Understand Well, So I Always Do My Best to Understand the Topic Before Teaching it.
My Philosophy in Teaching Takes Care of Different Students and Their Different Capabilities in Receiving Piece of Information, Some Prefers Vocal Method, Others Prefers Written Content, Others Love to Be Part of The Class, So There are Different Types of Students in One Class, The Goal is All of Them are on The Same Road at The End of Class.
I May not Have Long Career in Teaching, It Starts from 2022 When I Start to Work in One of 4th Generation Universities, New Mansoura University as Biotechnology Lab Assistant, I was Responsible for Helping Professors in The Practical Part of Different Topics as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering.
At The Same Time, I Had Contract with Mansoura University in Bioinformatics Lab Under Supervision of Senior Bioinformatician to Teach Practical Part of Bioinformatics Courses to Life Science and Computer Science Students, Also We had a Lot of Workshops and Webinars, I Was Instructor in All of Them, They Include Large Sector of Students from Professor to Undergraduate.
I Remember one Time when my Supervisor Makes me Leader of Team of Researchers, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students, We were in Charge of Presenting Very Difficult Topic to another Groups, Our Presentation was on Proteomics and Metabolomics, Which are Two Important Applications of Bioinformatics, I Began Firstly to Divide the Topic to Small Points, And Each One is Assigned with one of These Points, We Had Meeting Every Week for 8 Weeks, Then We Began to Collect the Topic from A to Z and Prepare Presentation, Then I Present Our Work to Different Groups and Got the Best Presentation Among 6 Groups.
Teaching is Very Enjoyable Process, Feeling the Ecstasy of Sharing Knowledge with others and make Difficult Point Easy to Someone is Priceless Feeling.
